Would you consider yourself lucky if they told you your baby didn't miscarry?!?

If you were told you had miscarried, thought you had passed all tissues etc. but had not actually, but it was just the remains of a possible twin or something else, and you kept gaining weight and they did an ultrasound and found a baby ALIVE in you?! Had a friend this happened to and she was very overwhelmed because she had already grieved and now her baby got "given back to her"!!!
