Why don't you shift gears and start doing something with your life out of the ordinary? Maybe you should hang with people who are into sports or outdoor activites. Hanging with the Starbucks crowd is going to yield like-minded people with like-minded interests--mostly people who spend their spare time with their laptop dialed into wifi who are into geeky blogs.
