Help! this company is trying to keep my money!?

It would have been helpful had you told how you paid. Cash, check, credit card; all have different refund rules. It certainly has been long enough, though, that a credit should have been issued. If you paid by credit card, call the issuer. They will give you a temporary credit until the seller finally does what they said they will do. Call the seller and tell them you're going to report this to the Better Business Bureau if you don't get your refund TODAY. Most legitimate sellers don't want this to happen, because so many consumers rely on the BBB's rating of a business. And, as a last resort, you can always sue them in Small Claims Court. That's pretty easy to do and has a very low cost. Good luck.
